Music
"When I am silent, I fall into the place where everything is music.” - Rumi

Background
For twenty‑five years, I have been crafting original music that lives at the crossroads of blues, folk, R&B, and jazz. As a woman of multi-racial heritage, I draw on a layered cultural background to tell stories of love, loss, and resilience in my songs. Over a quarter century on stage and in the studio, I have worked to built a body of music that feels both timeless and contemporary, honoring Black musical traditions while carving out a sound that is unmistakably my own.
Newest Project
After 25 years of weaving blues, folk, R&B, and jazz into my original music, I’ve poured my heart into my latest project: my entry for NPR’s Tiny Desk Contest. As a multi-racial artist—I’ve drawn from my layered roots to create a song that capture my raw voice. I’m thrilled with how it turned out, but with so many talented entries, I’m not sure if it’ll win—either way, it’s a true reflection of my journey and the stories I tell.
